About MY Practice

I support adolescents, young adults, and families navigating eating disorders, body image distress, and complex trauma. My approach is collaborative, warm, and grounded in deep respect for your lived experience.

I have extensive experience treating eating disorders at higher levels of care and outpatient settings. I work from a Health at Every Size perspective and draw from evidence-based approaches like Family Based Treatment, especially when working with adolescents.

I also specialize in treating clients who have experienced trauma and gender based violence including intimate partner violence, sexual violence, and child sexual abuse.

I have experience in domestic violence advocacy and can support clients navigate the complex processes faced by survivors of violence and abuse.

I work with queer and trans clients exploring identity, embodiment, and recovery from trauma. As a lesbian-identified therapist, I bring both lived and clinical understanding to the unique challenges LGBTQ+ people face in healing. My trauma-informed work is rooted in honoring complexity, cultivating safety, and building relationships that support integration and self-trust.

My Approach

My style is relational, trauma-informed, and grounded in curiosity. I integrate psychodynamic therapy, Internal Family Systems, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT and RO-DBT), and somatic awareness to help clients reconnect with themselves and their bodies. I believe healing happens not just through insight and skills, but through safe relationships— including the therapeutic relationship.

In my eating disorder work, I approach from a Health at Every Size perspective and prioritize building body respect and food freedom. See more about my specific approach to eating disorders here.
